VProve Rhodiola Power Cream [Jolse] Review
Jolse.com is a website that I've been purchasing my Kbeauty products from and I was lucky to be one of the winners that received this product in return for an honest review. VProve is a new brand that is endorsed by Park Bo Gum, his recent drama was Moonlight Drawn By Clouds. I'm always interested in trying products from new brands so I was excited to see if my skin likes this particular cream!
As I've mentioned in my intro that VProve is a fairly new brand that just launched last year in October. They are known for their creams that target different types of protections for the skin, such as the Dust Defense, Panthenol Banding, Oil Paper cream, the list goes on.
"A cream line that provides professional and beneficial personal solutions to treat. skin concerns. Choose the skin solution that's right for your skin with a wide product range that takes account of differences in season, time, and environment to offer an improvement effect"
I really like the concept of the cream line, since the environment is a big concern for the skin as it depends on where you are and the seasons.
Rhodiola Power Cream
The cream that I've received is the Rhodiola Power Cream which claims to "protect the skin against damage caused by large temperature differences". The weather where I live can be bipolar and since the summer heat is approaching, the AC is always on indoors and the outdoors can get really hot. Therefore, I was very interested in trying this product.
What is Rhodiola?
Rhodiola is a plant that has been known for reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It contains antioxidants called "proanthocyanidins", which is also found in green tea, known for its ability to protect the skin.
I really like the packaging since it's simple, hygienic and easy to travel.
I disliked the strong floral scent in this cream that lingers for a very long time. I would prefer skincare products with little to no scent. I've read the reviews from the other winners and the scent seemed to be a problem for them as well.
The cream is white with a medium consistency that is easy to blend as it just melts in the skin. It absorbs fast with a matte finish. There is no sticky residue.
My skin didn’t react badly to this cream so yay to no breakouts. The cream is quite moisturizing for my dry skin and it absorbs fast with a matte finish. There is no sticky residue since it just melts on the skin. I noticed that my skin is even out with less redness from using this cream.
I’m considering about purchasing this. I really like how moisturizing it is for my skin. It wouldn’t be enough during the winter but it’s great for the spring/summer. I think it does have protection against the changing temperature since my skin looks smooth and feels great when I use this cream.
Pros: -Moisturizing -Absorbs quickly - Protects the skin from changing temperature -Hygienic packaging
Cons: -The strong scent
